Water Immersion UT System (GSCAN)
Automatically scans workpieces that can be submerged in water,enabling image analysis by coloring the level of echo height of flawpositions. Suitable for workpieces like stainless steel and others that are rust-proof.
Air-Coupled UT System (GSCAN Type.AERO)
Automatically scans in the air without contact workpieces that cannot be submerged in water, enabling image analysis by coloring the level of echo height of flaw positions. Suitable for workpieces like electronic parts, batteries, aerospace craft body and others that water cannot be used.
Existing ultrasonic inspection methods require contact with a medium, such as water, to propagate ultrasonic waves to scan objects, but water cannot be used to scan objects related to rust or deterioration.
Using a low frequency probe, high power pulse/receiver, signal amplifier and noise filter, air-coupled ultrasonic inspection is possible without touching the medium. Only by installing a mounting seat on the production conveyor to fix multiple probes arranged in parallel, the automatic scanning of internal defects such as steel plates and plate-shaped building materials can be realized.
Easy to judge OK/NG, defects in location or distribution
Test date/time, inspector, scanning conditions, workpiece size, etc. can be entered on the screen. When it is judged that the workpiece is NG, it is judged by the defective section displayed in red, as well as the buzzer and rotating warning light installed on the machine.
