Surface photovoltage (SPV) spectroscopy is one of the most sensitive methods for studying the properties of solid surfaces (about 108 q/cm2, where q is the unit charge). Its sensitivity is several orders of magnitude higher than that of XPS and Auger electron spectroscopy. It is simple to operate and has good reproducibility. It does not damage the sample during the test and does not change the morphology of the sample.
A key measurement uncertainty factor in surface photovoltage spectroscopy measurement is the stability of the light source. For this reason, the light source provided by our company is a high-stability 500W xenon lamp, which greatly improves the accuracy of the measurement.
The series of surface photovoltage spectrum measurement systems are mainly composed of xenon light source, automatic scanning monochromator, optical fiber bundle, lock-in amplifier, optical chopper, dark room and data acquisition software.
