The Model KV-202 desktop vacuum ultraviolet spectrometer, with its unique cleaning monochromator (KV200), achieves higher resolution and greater stability. Compared to traditional models on the market, it features a more compact and refined body. Light from the super-violet emitting deuterium lamp enters the monochromator (KV200), and the light rays pass through the condensing system and are separated into monochromatic light sources. Then, using the semi-dual beam method, the light is split into two paths, one of which goes to the monitor to compensate for fluctuations in the light source, while the other illuminates the sample. This system is capable of performing highly stable transmission spectrum measurements.
Transmission spectrum measurements are conducted in the wavelength range of 120 to 130 (vacuum ultraviolet radiation range).
High resolution and stability are achieved with a nitrogen-purified monochromator.
It is suitable for the evaluation of special films and special substrates.
Measurement data
It can test the transmission characteristics of polymers, similar to film and the difference depends on the thickness. The commercial transmission rate measurement results of this packaging film show that the wavelength of light propagation is very short. Although they are the same type of packaging film, the light transmittance is different according to the thickness.
