The VS7550 is a compact Czerny-Turner spectrometer, renowned for its exceptional speed, broad spectral range, and high spectral resolution. It features software-controlled slit size adjustment, input f-number, sequential sorting filters, grating angle, and dark exposure. For VUV operations, the spectrometer is equipped with an ultra-high vacuum window and a laminar flow purification system, enabling operation with short-wavelength cutoff windows (MgF2). The spectrometer is highly portable, fitting comfortably in the hand, and comes with a 5-meter cable for unrestricted operation. Accessories include a spectral calibration lamp assembly, a multi-spectral field planar light source, and additional components such as telescopes, vacuum adapters, and flow controllers.
The spectrometer utilizes a 3600 grooves per millimeter grating for H2 ultraviolet lamp and mercury lamp spectra.
Software and Drivers:
A comprehensive PC software package is provided for controlling all spectrometer functions, displaying, and storing spectral data. Key features include:
