LT-SHPM/STM | Low Temperature Microscope
With a micron-sized semiconductor Hall sensor probe, the LT-SHPM allows mapping of the surface Hall voltage VHV_HVH as a function of position, directly providing the spatial distribution of local magnetic induction.
The SHPM system offers ~1 μm imaging resolution with high magnetic field sensitivity. Unlike magnetic force microscopy, SHPM provides direct quantitative magnetic information without damaging samples. It can image magnetic induction under applied fields up to ~16 T and over a wide temperature range (millikelvin to 300 K).
In addition to Hall probes, the microscope can be used with STM and QTF probes for Scanning Tunneling Microscopy imaging and Non-Contact Mode Atomic Force Microscopy imaging with Quartz Tuning Fork probes.
LT-STM
The LT-STM operates down to 10 mK and provides atomic resolution. The system can be adapted to existing cryostat systems and customized according to user requirements.
