I. Process & Application
The coating system consists of a feeding unit and coating unit. The coating unit comprises precision-machined upper/lower dies and thin shims installed between them. The feeding unit includes material storage, syringe pumps for delivery, and filtration devices.
By controlling the relative motion between the coating die and substrate (glass, stainless steel, plastic, etc.), the system extrudes liquid chemical materials through the die gap to form thin films. Film thickness is determined by flow rate and substrate speed, offering:
